Joel is the founding member of Oles & Associates, LLC.  He directs the accounting, auditing and consulting services on engagements.

Joel is a graduate of Ohio University, with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting.  With over 29 years in public accounting, Joel has served clients in a variety of industries to help them in matters of tax, accounting and other financial affairs.

Professionally,  Joel is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), the Ohio Society of CPA's, the Florida Institute of CPA's, the Financial Planning Association, and the Government Finance Officers Association. He is also a member of the Columbus Estate Planning Council.

Joel is a former member of the South-Western City School District Board of Education, past president of the Sertoma Speech and Hearing Center of Grove City, Ohio and Finance board president of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.  Currently, he serves as Treasurer of the South-Western City School Educational Foundation and is a member of the Board of Trustees of the Cornerstone Academy Community School.
